From drippy faucets in Old Roseville to whole-home repipes in Sun City — our trucks are stocked for anything the day throws at them.
Different neighborhoods, different decades, different problems. Here's what we see most across Rocklin — and what to watch for in your home.
Rocklin's plumbing issues mirror Roseville's because the growth waves overlap. Hard water is the dominant complaint — Placer County water runs 15–20 grains per gallon, and you'll see scale buildup on Stanford Ranch fixtures, shortened water-heater life in Whitney Ranch, and clogged aerators in Pacific Ridge. Slab leaks are the second wave — 1990s–2000s copper in Whitney Oaks and Springfield is now starting to develop pinholes from hard-water abrasion. Tree roots are less common than in older Sacramento neighborhoods but still happen in pre-1990 sections near Pacific Street and Park Drive. Newer Quarry Park and Diamond Oaks homes have PEX and largely avoid both issues, but they get pressure-reducing valve failures as the city's high-pressure mains wear out PRVs.
If you're anywhere from the Galleria to Stanford Ranch, we're just minutes away. Typical response time: under 45 minutes.
Same trucks. Same faces. Techs who know the quirks of your neighborhood's plumbing.

A retired couple was on their third 50-gallon tank in 12 years. Sun City's hard water kept eating the anode rod, and they wanted to reclaim the garage space.
Installed a Rinnai RU199iN condensing tankless on an exterior wall, added a whole-home softener pre-filter, and flushed the line. Gas line upsized from 1/2" to 3/4" to meet the BTU demand.
Endless hot water, 12% lower gas bill, and the garage wall they freed up became storage. Flush service scheduled annually — keeps the warranty intact.

The homeowner had three pinhole leaks in 18 months, brown water every morning, and a plumber's quote that required ripping out half their drywall.
We ran PEX-A through the attic and interior walls with just 11 access cuts — all in closets and the laundry room. Original copper capped and abandoned in place. Full pressure test and city inspection passed first visit.
2 days on-site, zero tile damage, and the homeowner's water bill dropped $14/month from the reduced wasted-flush volume. Texture match was invisible by the time they painted.

Most amazing service ever! On time, professional, fixed our major plumbing issue. Beyond satisfied. Highly recommend . Thank you Doug!! Always supportive of family owned business.

Doug and Victor came to our home as we had a sewer backup. They were amazing! Cleared it and explained what the issue was and gave us a reasonable quote for the repair work. Thanks for coming to our rescue!

Victor K. , Kevin and Moses are all amazing, nicest crew ever, great work , efficient, Thank you all so much ! Stacy Hesse

Okay so I'll be honest I've never used these guys but I see their service van parked in my neighborhood and it's freaking Epic.... I've been Plumbing for 27 years I work for the state of California the first time I saw this van I considered quitting my job to see if Beaver Brothers is hiring

They did a great job! Professional, reliable, and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Beaver Brothers.

My laundry room piping was old and had Been leaking for some time. I called Beaver Brothers and they sent out the service advisor within a couple hours. I was given a fair price and they had two techs out the following day to conquer my ancient plumbing. The guys did a great job and I was surprised how quickly they got it completed. I’m very pleased with their fast, professional service and will definitely keep them on file for future projects. Thanks much!!!

They installed a loop from my water main to the garage and then installed a pressure valve and a water softener. Extremely happy with the work. The pipes were installed under ground and when they finished, it did not even look like they disturbed the ground. Highly recommend Beaver Brothers for your plumbing project.

We had the best experience with Beaver Brothers Plumbing! They were our third quote and came in much lower than their competitors. We dealt with Steve, Moses, Viktor, and Vitalii for the actual repair work and Isabella for customer service and everyone was super friendly and helpful. We had to do a sewer line replacement which is not fun but they made it as painless as possible. They'll be my go to for any future plumbing issues and I will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Great service!

I was having problems with my 3 years-old water heater and didn’t have consistent hot water for nearly three weeks. The part I needed to fix my water heater was out of stock, and I was told it would take at least another three weeks to receive it from the manufacturer. I called Beaver Brothers and met with Steve. After an in-depth discussion around my options, he gave me a quote that worked for me. He had his crew onsite within the hour. The whole team was professional and pleasant. All the guys worked continuously and there were no messes left behind. They needed access under the house and the access point was cluttered, but they moved everything out of the way and neatly moved everything back when they were done. The closet where my water tank is located looked amazing. It was cleaned out and the quality of their installation was impressive. I am very happy with their service, the quality of their work is outstanding, and I will be calling them again for my future plumbing needs.

I would highly recommend Beaver Brothers for any plumbing needs. I have had two experiences with them and both were very positive. They were very responsive and come out quickly for reasonable price. Recently they replaced my water heater.

Doug did a great job. He was in and out, drain cleared and working. Great price.

Both Moses and Victor did a wonderful job installing our water shut off set up. They arrived when they said they would and were neat and polite. They explained to me what they were doing and how to manage it in the future I appreciated their helpfulness and would certainly call them again.

5 Star!🌟 This company is AMAZING! I called with stopped up plumbing and they were able to come quickly, very reasonable price and Doug was the BEST! Kudos to them! Thank you !

My drain line was backed up and broke off. Beaver brothers was very knowledgeable and professional. They had the drain line replaced quickly and have had no issues since then!

Quick, professional, and friendly. I got service the same day. I had an issue with a clogged shower and they were able to fix it. I highly recommend them. Plus, they have a catchy business name.

The price of a plumber in Rocklin depends on emergency timing, leak location, repair complexity, parts, and access. A simple visible repair may be less involved than a hidden pipe leak or urgent water damage situation. Parts, materials, and the time required to reach the damaged area can all affect the total. Beaver Brothers Plumbing provides clear pricing before customers approve the work.
Rocklin customers can choose Beaver Brothers Plumbing for emergency plumbing, licensed plumbers, commercial service, and local support. The team can handle leaks, clogged drains, fixture repairs, water heaters, pipe work, sewer concerns, and other plumbing needs. This broad experience helps when the repair needs to be both fast and accurate.
The company also backs service with a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. Depending on the repair or installation, warranty coverage may apply, and customers should ask which terms are included. Beaver Brothers Plumbing focuses on clear communication and dependable workmanship.
Yes — pressure-reducing valves wear out every 7–12 years on Rocklin's high-pressure mains (similar to Folsom's setup). Failed PRV symptoms: hammering pipes, dripping toilets, premature fixture leaks, and shortened water-heater life. Replacement runs $300–$700 installed depending on whether the valve is easily accessible at the main service line. We test pressure at install to verify the new valve caps at the safe 60–80 PSI range.
Yes — hydrojetting uses high-pressure water (3,000–4,000 PSI) to clear grease buildup, mineral scale, and root masses from sewer and drain lines. Most effective on chronic backups in older Pacific Street homes with clay laterals. We pair hydrojetting with sewer-camera inspection ($150–$300) to identify exactly what's blocking and whether any pipe damage needs follow-up repair. Hydrojet service typically runs $400–$700 depending on line length and access.
Stanford Ranch was largely built in the late 1990s through early 2000s, so the original copper is now 25+ years old. Most common service calls: slab-leak detection and repair, water softener replacements (the original units are end-of-life), tankless water heater conversions from aging tank units, and PRV replacements as the high mains pressure wears out the original valves. Sewer laterals are mostly PVC so root issues are rare here.
Yes — pre-1990 Pacific Street, Park Drive, and the older sections of Rocklin core often have galvanized steel supply lines. Symptoms are brown hot water (rust from internal corrosion), low pressure especially at the hot side, rust flakes in faucet aerators, and chronic pinhole leaks at fittings. Repipe to PEX is the upgrade — 2–4 days for a typical 3-bd/2-ba home, $4,500–$9,000 depending on layout and fixture count.
Look for warm spots on tile or hardwood floors, an unexplained jump in your water bill, low hot-water pressure at distant fixtures, the sound of running water with everything turned off, or bubbling/peeling paint near floor level. Professional detection uses electronic listening equipment, infrared thermal imaging, or pressure-test isolation — pinpoints the leak before any concrete gets cut. Detection runs $250–$500 in Rocklin; some shops offer a $99 diagnostic that's credited toward repair.
The 1990s–2000s copper installs across Whitney Oaks, Whitney Ranch, and Springfield are now 25–30 years old. Placer hard water (15–20 gpg) plus the city's high-pressure mains slowly wear pinholes through the copper, especially at slab penetrations where the pipe contacts concrete. Pinholes show up first as warm spots on the floor or unexplained water bill increases. Detection $250–$500; spot repair $1,500–$4,500. If you find a second pinhole within a year of the first, plan for a full repipe instead of chasing leaks.
Sacramento-area water sources — the American River, groundwater, El Dorado Irrigation District, Placer County wells — average 12–20 grains per gallon (gpg) of hardness, far above the EPA-recommended 1–3 gpg. The dissolved calcium and magnesium leave white scale on fixtures, shorten water heater life by 3–5 years, restrict pipe flow over time, and reduce the efficiency of soap, dishwashers, and laundry machines. It's safe to drink, but rough on plumbing. Solutions include whole-house softeners, reverse-osmosis under-sink systems for drinking, and annual water heater flushes. Most homes here see measurable plumbing-life extension within a year of softener install.
Free written estimates on installation quotes — water heater replacements, repipes, sewer line work, fixture installs, softener systems, tankless conversions. For diagnostic work (finding a slab leak, locating a sewer blockage with camera inspection), there's a small service-call fee, but it's credited toward the repair if you approve the work the same day. All pricing is upfront flat-rate — no hourly billing surprises. You see the total cost before we start, including parts, labor, and permits where required. Financing options available for larger jobs like repipes and main-line replacements.
Same-day for most service calls and same-hour for true emergencies like burst pipes, active gas leaks, and sewer backups flooding the home. We dispatch 24/7 from our Sacramento office, with trucks covering Sacramento, Placer, Yolo, and El Dorado counties. Typical emergency response times: 30–45 minutes within central Sacramento, Roseville, and Rocklin; 45–60 minutes to Folsom, Granite Bay, Antelope, and Citrus Heights; up to 90 minutes for outlying Loomis, Placerville, and rural Sac County areas. Call our dispatch line anytime — we don't use answering services that funnel you through a callback queue.
Yes — Beaver Brothers is a fully licensed California plumbing contractor (C-36 license), bonded, and carries general liability plus workers' comp insurance on every technician. California law requires a CSLB license for any plumbing work over $500, and unlicensed work can void your homeowner's insurance if something goes wrong. We carry the paperwork in every truck and can show it on request. Permits are pulled on every job that requires them — water heaters, gas lines, repipes, sewer replacements — so the work is documented and inspected by the city or county.
