Service Plumber

Position Overview

We are looking for a Service Plumber to handle the calls that make up most of our days: a drain that will not clear, a water heater that has stopped, a leak somebody found this morning under the sink.

You will be dispatched to homes across the Sacramento area and will usually be on your own. We would rather you slow down and get the diagnosis right than rush to the next address.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Clear drains, repair leaks, and replace fixtures, valves and supply lines
• Service and replace water heaters, tank and tankless
• Run camera inspections and explain what the footage shows
• Quote work before starting it, so the invoice holds no surprises
• Keep accurate notes on what was found and what was done
• Leave the work area cleaner than you found it

Requirements

• Two or more years of residential service plumbing
• Comfortable working unsupervised and managing your own route
• Valid driver license and a clean record
• Straightforward with customers about what a repair will cost
• Able to lift and maneuver water heaters and equipment
• Background check and drug screening
