Position Overview
We are looking for a Junior Plumber who wants to learn the trade properly. You will work alongside our lead and service plumbers, and you will be taught rather than left to work it out.
No two houses here are the same, and the ones we see most were built before 1995. That is a slower start than new construction, and a much better education.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist on service calls, repipes and water heater installations
- Prepare the site, run material, and keep tools and the truck in order
- Learn to diagnose supply, drain and sewer problems under supervision
- Take on your own simple jobs as your experience allows
- Ask questions — the crew would rather answer one than fix a mistake
Requirements
- Some hands-on experience, a trade program, or a genuine reason to want this work
- Valid driver license and a clean record
- Reliable, on time, and willing to be taught
- Able to lift and carry equipment through tight spaces all day
- Background check and drug screening
